Dr. Casey Griffiths
Dr. Casey Griffiths received a B.A. in History from Brigham Young University and went on to complete an M.A. in Religious Education and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Foundations at BYU. Before joining the faculty in the Department of Religious Education at BYU, Brother Griffiths spent eleven years at Seminaries and Institutes, serving as both an instructor and curriculum developer. He is joyfully married to Elizabeth Ottley Griffiths, and together, they reside in Saratoga Springs with their three delightful children.
Courses Taught: REL C 225 (Fundamentals of the Restoration); REL C 324 and REL C 325 (Doctrine and Covenants); REL 333 (The Living Prophets); REL 200 (The Eternal Family).
Areas of Specialization: Dr. Griffiths possesses specialized knowledge in Doctrine and Covenants, 20th-century LDS Church history, LDS educational history, and Global LDS Church History, particularly with a focus on the Pacific region.
