Dr. Jenny Reeder is an expert in nineteenth-century women’s history affiliated with the LDS Church History Department. She holds a PhD in American history from George Mason University, specializing in women’s history. Additionally, she possesses a master’s degree from New York University in history, archival management, and documentary editing. Dr. Reeder has collaborated with various institutions, including the Roy Rozenzweig Center for History and New Media at GMU, the Center for American Jewish History, the Gilder Lehrman Collection at the New-York Historical Society, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the New York Universalist-Unitarian church, and the Joseph Fielding Smith Institute for LDS History. She has also played a role on the executive committee of the Mormon Women’s History Initiative Team.
